More pictures...

We had lots of visitors this weekend and are looking forward to more in the weeks to come. Here are some shots of Griffin with some of his biggest fans.

Aunt Coco and Uncle D-Bow brought lil Clayton to visit his little cousin. Christmas is gonna be awesome!

Griffin got to meet his Aunt Ashley, Uncle Ryan and cousin Bennett who stopped by on the way to Athens to watch the Dawgs play. It's awesome to be back in Georgia! (Note: It isn't easy to get an almost 2 year old to smile, but it sure is cute)


Laura and Scott also came by to visit.

Update

This will be quick, but I wanted to give you guys a sneak peek of some of the pictures that we have captured over this past week.

Griffin is amazing and has already added so much richness to our lives. Here is a glimpse of the little guy in his first week of life:










It has been a big weekend for Griffin. He met his Aunt Ashley, Uncle Ryan, Bennett, Aunt Coco, Uncle Daniel, Clayton and GG and Pop came to visit on Saturday. I'll post some more pictures tomorrow.

Griffin Ethridge Greene

We brought our boy home today, Monday September 21st at 1:30 pm. Mom and boy are both doing great. Here are some pictures of the most amazing weekend of my life.

Sara Kate worked really hard. You think you love and respect your wife...and then she delivers the best gift in the world.

Thank you for all of your prayers. They were definitely felt. We go to the pediatrician for Griffin's first checkup in the morning. We will keep you posted and continue to keep you updated as he grows.

It's a boy!

Griffin Ethridge Greene was born at 7:29. He weighs 7 lbs 15 oz, 21.5" long. He's got all 10 fingers and toes. Sara Kate was awesome. Pictures to follow. Thank you for your prayers. It was a great experience.

Really Close!

It is now 4:00 and the midwife just gave us some great news. The epidural really helped SK relax so labor has progressed and she is now 9.5 cm and 100% effaced. Nurse said we are gonna start pushing at 5:00. God is good! Next post we should have measurements and the announcement of our baby boy or girl.

Update

It is now about 2:20. The day is moving along faster than expected. Sara Kate labored without any drugs for about 6 hours and did amazing. She received an epidural around 1:15 and that has made the difference. She is now 5 cm and about 90% effaced. It shouldn't be too long now. Thanks for your prayers. They are felt.

Gettin' Close... Except for Not

Sara Kate and I got settled in to the hospital at 9:00 last night. They gave her a servidil to help get things going. Last night we slept about 4-5 hrs. They just started her on Pitocin. She's already having some mild contractions every 4 minutes for about 30 seconds. We will keep you posted. We are having a good time listening to the "Baby's Day" mix I made. Thank you for your prayers. I'll keep you updated throughout the day.
