BEACH!!!

I am sure that you are all wondering why I haven't posted the 9 month update yet... well, G and I are at the beach with the Griffin clan and we are loving it!

Although we miss daddy BIG TIME, we are having fun playing with all of the cousins and catching some rays. Here are a few pics...

Sydney has been so sweet with Griffin. She loves to help him walk around inside and plays with him on the deck in his little baby pool.

Griffin is kind of a fan of the beach, but he definitely loves his baby pool.

He loves to walk along the water and he doesn't seem scared by the waves at all!

That's all for now. Hopefully I will have more pictures to post before we leave.

PS- As of today, there is no oil in sight. Let's hope it stays that way :)

A long time coming...

Blake FINALLY finished his backyard masterpiece. He worked his tail off (literally, 7lbs of it) for two whole weeks and has a lot to show for it. Here is a link to a power point of the project. In other news... Griffin's first little tooth has popped through. Here's to the beginning of (hopefully) quick and painless teething. Any tips or advice are very much welcomed!

Happy Birthday, Clayton!!

This weekend we went to Birmingham for Clayton's first birthday. Courtney threw him a beautiful party and we had a blast! Here are some pictures from the big event.

The cousins and Braxton (Courtney and Daniel's nephew) They were all born within three and a half months of eachother last year. Clayton in June, Braxton in August and Griffin in September!

Blake pulled Griffin around the yard in the wagon and he loved it!! G sat in this wagon for about an hour while Blake and I played on a slip 'n slide too!! (Video to be posted later)

We had a great time in Birmingham and were able to see lots of friends and family while we were there. I can't believe that Clayton is already one and that Griffin will be there before we know it. Griffin is crawling and moving like crazy. He is pulling up on just about everything that he can and is cruising along furniture getting from chair to toybox to chair to ottomon in no time. My guess is that he will be walking solo in another few weeks. Maybe I can get some good video of him moving around soon so that you can see what I am talking about. This boy is all over the place!
