ATL here we come!!

Two weeks ago, Blake was offered a new opportunity that will take us back down South. We are pumped about this for several reasons:
1. We will be 5 hours closer to our families when little baby Greene comes.
2. This is a great opportunity for Blake to pursue something new. And I know that he will be amazing.
3. Blake and I seem to thrive on unknowns/new adventures. Bring on the stress!

However, despite all of these things, we are very sad to be leaving some wonderful friends here in Winston-Salem. This precious little town has been very good to us and we will miss the friends that we have made, home that we have built, and so many other things.

When we decided that we were going to accept the opportunity to move to ATL, we decided that there was one more thing that we would like to do to the house before we put it on the market... rip out the nasty old carpet in our back den and replace it with brand new gleaming tile. So, for your viewing pleasure I have posted pics here to show you the project from start to finish. A special thanks to our good friend Brad for hooking us up with a sweet wet saw and working hours with us to get this done in a week. Feel free to leave a comment and tell Blake how awesome he is.

PS- Sorry that it took me forever to post a new update. I've got some Easter pics to share with you, but I am exhausted, so you will have to wait another day or two.

Much love to you!

Ripping out the old carpet and carpet pad.

Making progress...

All of the whole pieces are down, now it's time to make some cuts...

Millie's been working hard... she needed a nap.

I thought I would help out by mopping up the extra grout.

And the finished product! Ta-Da!!
